This summer we had a wonderful treat! My first cousin, Brook Simpson Rivera and her family spent the summer a couple of hours away in Estes Park, Colorado. Brook and her husband, Rudy have a 6-year-old son, Naaman, a 4-year-old daughter, Kyra and a 1-year-old daughter, Kelsey. We were able to get together a few times and all the kids had a BLAST together. We even were able to see them when Jake visited, but didn't get them all together for a picture. (Yes, we had 7 of the 10 greats together and didn't get a picture, BUT it was quite an operation - we just didn't think about photos)
Here are a few photos of our hiking together and then the last visit the Riveras made to see us before heading back to Texas. We are already praying for them to come back next summer!
