Down on Grandpa's Farm

Yes, we had a great time at the fair, but it was just as much fun to stay at the farm and let the kids play. Anna had a ball driving the tractor and Eric didn't mind just going along for the ride. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, a tradition started by the Florida Schnittkers, which the kids loved doing, although they decided that marshmallows straight from the bag was just as good as a roasted one and a lot less work! AND, they got the see Elmo shear sheep!

Okay, so Elmo really didn't shear the sheep. The sheep shearer was actually named Elmer, but Eric got it a little confused! The kids had fun watching all the excitement, at least they had more fun than the sheep!

In case you thought we left Daniel behind in Colorado, here are a few pictures of our cutie! Anna said during this trip that we should have named Daniel "smiley", some days I think she is right.
