Great Daddy

I have had the privilege of living 38 years with two of the finest men for Grandfathers. My sweet, sweet Grand Daddy J.T. Simpson went to heaven in 2006. My equally sweet Grand Daddy, also now known as Great Daddy, is still very much alive and LOVES his family more than anything in this world. Clyde Cook is the kind of man we all wish our little boys will grow up to be. He has worked very hard all of his life to give his sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren the best he could give us. He is both loyal and loving. He has a great mind and has "invented" some fantastic things in his life, both at work and around the house. There are many times when I think what he could have accomplished if he had the benefit of a college education instead of the middle-school one he received as the son of a share cropper. He is one-of-a kind and I am so fortunate to have him on my side. He is from a generation that we all could learn something from. The generation that loved family above all else, knew that hard work was necessary and that you should treat others as you want to be treated.

During this trip home, we were able to spend some time with Great Momma and Great Daddy. Here are a couple of pictures of this precious man!
