Just before moving to Denver, Kevin's brother and his wife gave us a 15 foot Christmas tree. They were moving to a house with lower ceilings and we were moving to one with a living room with high ceilings. We put up this tree in 2005 and again this year. It is not only REALLY tall, it takes up lots of room. We actually had to take the furniture out of the living room and put only the tree in there. The kids had a blast decorating it and we got lots of laughs from anyone who visited us during the Christmas season. We could see the tree from almost every room in the house! It was very generous of Dennis and Mandy to give it to us and I am sure it will provide the kids with many memories of the "ridiculously large tree" from their childhood!
